Usage FAQ
Q1: I didn’t find any hidden camera. Does that mean the device doesn’t work?
Some hidden cameras are wired and don't emit wireless signals, so they cannot be detected in RF mode. We can use the infrared detection mode. Camera lenses will reflect light and appear as bright red spots, even if no wireless signal is present.
Q2: Why does the detector keep beeping or showing strong signals everywhere?
This usually happens in environments with a strong signal (such as WiFi routers, metal window frames, or electronic devices). Turn off unrelated devices, start with high sensitivity, then reduce the sensitivity step by step and scan slowly.
Q3: Can this device detect all GPS trackers?
Some GPS trackers transmit signals intermittently to save power. For better detection, scan the same area for 5 minutes, reduce sensitivity gradually, and repeat the scan in different positions, especially when locating GPS trackers attached to metal surfaces.
Q4: How to use for the best results?
- Detects wireless signals and optical reflections only.
- Please scan slowly and adjust sensitivity gradually.
- For wired devices, please use infrared detection mode.
